- Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper): it is one of the most important masterpieces in the world, where is presented a variety of opera and ballet spectacles at high level. The opera is located in a district of Vienna, on the south end of Kärntnerstrasse. It is a tourist attraction in terms of artistic and architectural. It was built between 1861 and 1869 by architects like August von Eduard van der Null and Sicardsburg. Talking about artistic appearance, the Vienna Opera has a very good reputation worldwide known for high quality representations. It is also well known because of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. A night at the Opera in Vienna is probably one of the most impressive tourist events that one can assist to in the Austrian capital. The opera brings the Italian Renaissance architectural style, a lot of cultural power of art and music. The first operas were written and staged in Italy during the sixteenth century. Another building, the State Opera Museum provides more information about the institution’s history.
